The Tiffany Resort, a bike hotel on the Adriatic Coast, is located in Valverde , about 2 km from the center of Cesenatico, a seaside town rich in history and tradition and equipped with many cycle paths, typical squares, museums, churches, gardens and streets showing you all their beauty and magic. Our hotel is pleased to provide you with free use of bicycles with which you can leave for a relaxing bike ride to discover art and culture in Cesenatico. You don’t need to take into consideration only professional cycling routes when it comes to cycling holiday!
If you take Viale Carducci, which connects Valverde to the center of Cesenatico, you’ll find the beautiful skyscraper, a symbol of the modern Cesenatico, built in the Fifties. In this new part of the town there are many hotels, pubs, discos but also many cottages, built in the early years of the twentieth century.
Continuing and entering the heart of the city, you will discover the beauty of the port canal, the main axis around which lies the old town, resulting from a project by Leonardo Da Vinci. Along the port canal there is the Museo Della Marineria, divided in the earth and in the particular and unique floating section: ten traditional boats of the Adriatic in the summer that are equipped with the colorful `lugsails` decorated with drawings which identified the families of the fishermen of one-time.
Near the Museo Della Marineria you can explore the library of the city, in the renowned Piazza Ciceruacchio, where there is a small Antiquarium Roman with archeological finds dating back to the period between the Roman republic and the imperial age. It will be interesting also to continue your bike trip in Piazza delle Conserve, where you can still see remnants of an ancient icebox, once used to store the products of the sea. Do not forget to take a look at the Parish Church of San Giacomo, dating from the seventeenth century, in which there are works by local artists.
If you want to use your bike excursion to satisfy a whim, please note that the port canal (pedestrian zone), Corso Garibaldi, Via Armellini, Via Moretti and Via Baldini represent the strolling area where you find the most shops: gift shops, arts and crafts shops, clothing shops. In summer, next to the weekly market throughout the year, some special evening markets take place: collectibles, antiques and natural products.
To round off your bike ride you will not forget to visit the Pantani museum, a structure built to commemorate the memorable feats of Romagna cycling champion with memorabilia, photos and stickers.
Enjoy riding far and wide the beautiful town of Cesenatico in the saddle of your bike. When you return, the Tiffany Resort hotel will be ready to give you the relaxation you need: massage and treatments in the wellness center, the cool of the outdoor swimming pool, the food of its cuisine with the flavors of the sea and the sun.
